Trim Levels of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator

2020

Now that the 2020 Jeep Gladiator has been introduced, it has given consumers an exciting option to consider when in the market for a mid-size pickup. The Gladiator has borrowed design elements from the Wrangler Unlimited, though with an extended wheelbase and a 5-foot cargo bed instead of the standard cargo area. With the edition of the Wrangler DNA, you can expect an off-road performance that no other pickup can match. The Gladiator also includes plenty of towing and hauling capability as it can tow a class-leading 7,650 pounds. Much like the Wrangler, the Gladiator comes with a Rubicon version that has features such as lockable front and rear differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a disconnectable front stabilizer bar. The Jeep Gladiator is available in four trim levels, take a trip with us as we break down each one.

What Engine is Available in the Jeep Gladiator?
Each version of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes with a five-foot cargo bed, four-wheel-drive, and a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. All trims come with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, but you do have the option of an eight-speed automatic.

What Are Features Available on the Sport Trim?
The Sport trim comes with 17-inch steel wheels, all-season tires, manual door locks and mirrors, crank windows, and cruise control. The impressive tech features include an eight-speaker audio system, a rearview camera, and a 5-inch central display with Bluetooth and voice control capability. All versions of the Gladiator also come with a convertible folding soft top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield. Optional is a Class II bumper hitch with a 4,500-pound towing capacity and anti-sway trailer control.

What Features come on the Sport S?
The Sport S adds to the Sport with more luxury features such as alloy wheels, power windows, power door and tailgate locks, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Sport S comes with a bevy of available option packages. The Technology Group is outstanding, and it offers a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Other packages include a Cargo Group package with a rail-based cargo management system and a 115-volt power outlet in the cargo bed. Also available is a Safety Group and Advanced Safety Group, which includes a ton of driver-assist features.

What Features Come with the Overland?
The Overland adds to the Sport S style with more function features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, side steps, and body-colored wheel arches. Other features include automatic headlights, LED ambient footwell lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch infotainment system with additional USB ports for rear passengers.

What does the Rubicon Come With?
The Rubicon comes with the most off-road capable features, including a transfer case that provides a lower crawl ratio for better climbing, fenders with increased ground clearance to provide for the massive 33-inch tires, and locking front and rear differentials. Also coming standard is an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar, Fox shock absorbers, and skid plates.
